Cookie Policy

Effective date: 16 October 2026

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on later requests, which is how a site recognises a returning browser. Similar technologies do the same job by other means — storing data in the browser instead of in a cookie file, loading a tiny image to register a visit, or assembling a signature from your browser's own characteristics.

This page records what mutespectrum.online does with all of that. The short answer is nothing, and the list below is the long answer.

What we checked

Cookies set by this site
Not used. No first-party cookie of any kind is set, including session, preference or consent cookies.
Cookies set by others through this site
Not used. No third party has any code on these pages, so nobody is in a position to set a cookie through them.
localStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage, which is why the printed checklists cannot remember a tick.
sessionStorage
Not used. Nothing is kept for the duration of your visit either.
IndexedDB
Not used. No database is created in your browser.
Tracking pixels
Not used. There are no image files on this site at all; every illustration is drawn with inline SVG or CSS.
Browser fingerprinting
Not used. No script reads your fonts, screen, canvas, hardware or any other characteristic to identify your browser.
Web fonts and third-party scripts
Not used. The site loads no external font and no external script. Text is set in fonts already installed on your own system, and the only JavaScript is one short first-party file that opens the narrow-screen menu and sends the checklists page to your printer.
Server access logs
Used. Our hosting provider records ordinary request information — IP address, date and time, URL requested, referring page if your browser sends one, and user-agent string — and keeps it for 30 days. This happens on the server, not in your browser, and it is the only record of your visit that exists.

Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner exists to obtain permission for cookies and similar storage. Since this site sets none, there is nothing for you to agree to, and a banner would be a claim that something is happening when it is not. We would rather publish this page than show you a dialog that is untrue.

What does happen when you read a page

Your browser requests the HTML, one stylesheet and one small script from this domain, and the hosting provider writes a line in its access log. That is the complete list. No analytics service is told you were here, no advertising system is informed, and no social, video or map embed is loaded, because none is present.

The checklists do not remember your ticks

The boxes on the course checklists and on the All checklists page are drawn, not interactive. Remembering a tick would mean writing to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB, and this site writes to none of them. Printing the page and using a pen achieves the same thing with nothing stored anywhere.

After you click an affiliate link

This site carries paid affiliate links, described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Clicking one takes you to another domain. Once there, War Thunder's own site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their domains in order to record where the referral came from. MEBAT Distribution s.r.o. does not control that, cannot switch it off and cannot see it. If you want to know what they store, their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to look, and they are reachable from their sites.

Blocking or clearing cookies in general

Every current browser lets you see what has been stored, delete it, and refuse future cookies. The controls are usually grouped under privacy or site settings, and they typically offer a list of sites with stored data, a button that clears browsing data for a chosen period, and a setting that blocks third-party cookies or all cookies. Blocking everything will break sites that genuinely need a cookie to sign you in; it will make no difference to this site, which never needed one.

If this ever changes

We do not plan to introduce cookies. If that changed, this page would be rewritten and published with a new effective date, and a working consent mechanism would be in place before the first cookie was set — not alongside it and not afterwards.
